Vt. Supreme Court won’t hear case Prohibited from hearing sex assault case that points up legal loophole

Friday April 1, 2011 BENNINGTON -- The Vermont Supreme Court will not hear an appeal filed over a case that local prosecutors say highlights a loophole in state laws. Bennington County State’s Attorney Erica Marthage has tried for about a year to file charges against a now 19-year-old man who allegedly committed aggravated sexual assault as a 13-year-old.

Staten Island Woman Arrested For Sex With 13-Year-Old Boy

A 20-year-old day care worker from Staten Island was arrested early Wednesday morning for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old boy in the Prince’s Bay area.
