How come it hurts to urinate after sex?

I usually go to the bathroom and drain the lizard after sex, but it sometimes hurts, like the tip of my urethra is expanding painfully. Why's this happen?

It may sometimes be from minimal trauma of the urethra tip during sex. Also, the inner lining of the urethra can be slightly sore a lot of time just because of ejaculation. Also, since there is still residual semen in the urethra immediately after sex, forcing urine out of a semen-caked urethra can make you feel sore as well.
